Great experience at the Skiis & Biikes shop in Mississauga. I walked in and had to wait a bit, but it was worth it. Andrew was very knowledgeable and gave me great advice on ski boots. The staff were friendly, and they even had a fun treasure-hunt card to keep the kids entertained during the wait. Highly recommended!

Great boot-fitting/buying experience!
For me, the one thing that is almost worse than skiing at -20 degrees, is buying new boots. I'm happy to report that my experience yesterday completely changed my perspective.
Andrew, my boot-fitter, was so knowledgeable, helpful and patient. He asked a lot of questions about my skiing style, where I ski, my priorities, etc., before ever mentioning options. All three options I tried would have worked. He made the process very easy. If you are looking for new boots, go to Andrew. Also, he is just a really good guy.
Also, Skiis and Bikes includes two hours of post-purchase fine-tuning which is included in the price.
Then I spoke Curt,Kerth(I didn't catch his precise name!) about helmets. Again, knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. Grabbed a pair of goggles like the ones I own to ensure the helmet I chose would work with them.
Both men didn't use technical mumbo-jumbo to try to upsell me in any way, which was greatly appreciated.
